SEND Access Arrangements Coordinator job summary
Bodmin College
Bodmin College is seeking to appoint a highly organised, proactive and detail-focused SEND Access Arrangements Coordinator to join our dedicated SEND and inclusion team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and administering access arrangements and reasonable adjustments for students with additional needs, ensuring that appropriate support is identified, accurately recorded and implemented in line with examination regulations and College procedures.
Working closely with the SEND team, teaching staff, students, families and examination colleagues, you will help ensure that students receive the appropriate support to enable them to demonstrate their knowledge and abilities in assessments and examinations.
The role will involve maintaining accurate records, coordinating assessment and evidence-gathering processes, liaising with relevant staff and external professionals, and ensuring that access arrangements are implemented consistently and effectively. You will need to work with a high level of confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail.
We are looking for someone who is organised, approachable, calm under pressure and confident communicating with a wide range of people. An understanding of SEND and the barriers that students may experience in education would be highly desirable, together with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.

We are hopeful that this award will assist us in continuing to develop the learning environment for all our students and staff. It is a long term project which will help us to deliver our vision for excellent education in the local area.
