SALARY/GRADE RANGE: NJC Scale 2D Points 4 - 6 (FTE £25,185.00 - £25,989.00 pro rata; actual salary £21,928.00 - £22,628.00 per annum)
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of the ASC Provision & Learning Support/SENCO; Lead SEND Administrator
HOURS: 37.00 hours per week (negotiable), term-time including 5 pro rata designated staff training days

Do you want a job where your daily admin tasks directly help a young person succeed? Samuel Whitbread Academy is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to assist within our Learning Support Department in the challenging yet fulfilling role of SEND Administrative Assistant.
This isn't just a data-entry job. It’s a role in education administration with a team that values continuous learning. If you are energetic, enthusiastic, and want a job where your daily admin tasks directly help a young person succeed, you will fit right in.
We are the team that ensures students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) get the right support to thrive. As our Admin Assistant, you will help to keep everything running smoothly. You will be working closely with our Lead SEND Administrator, our SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) and the wider team.
Whilst experience of working in an educational setting is desirable, if you haven't worked in a school before and have great IT skills, a 'can-do' attitude, and a good sense of humour, we can teach you the rest.
The successful candidate will be have strong IT and administrative skills, and a genuine passion for ensuring every student receives the support they need.

This role will involve working closely with the students at Samuel Whitbread Academy and you will be engaging in regulated activity with children.
