SEND Administration Officer job summary

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Administration Officer to join our team at The English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department and ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive.

As SEND Administration Officer, you will provide vital administrative support to the SENDCO, helping to manage SEND processes and maintain accurate records. Your responsibilities will include coordinating exam access arrangements, managing SEND data, preparing documentation for annual reviews, and liaising with parents, outside agencies, and feeder schools. You will also assist with organising meetings, maintaining pupil files, and supporting the smooth transition of vulnerable students from primary school.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about inclusion. You will work closely with staff across the school, contributing to an environment of respect, equality, and celebration of diversity, while supporting the distinctive Catholic ethos of our community.
