What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a SEND Administrator to provide essential administrative assistance to our SEND teams across three schools within the Bradford City Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that our children with SEND receive the best possible support.
This is a part time role 22.5 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week. There is a degree of flexibility around the working pattern for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to SENDCo’s, including note-taking and organising files.
• Maintain accurate student records and update SEND Review documents.
• Assist with the SEND identification, assessment, monitoring, and review process.
• Manage student referrals and coordinate meetings with external agencies.
• Organise and book rooms, appointments, and screening assessments.
• Communicate regularly with parents/carers and coordinate Parent Forum meetings.
• Prepare documentation for EHCP applications and annual reviews.
• Ensure SEND data is accurately recorded and shared with teachers.
• Support SENDCo’s in communicating effective strategies to teaching staff.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience of working
within school setting

Experience of working with children with special educational needs
- Understanding of SEND practices and statutory/legal processes, including EHCPs and SEND funding.
- Experience in public or private sector administration
- Experience of accurate recording of meetings.
- Experience of operating administrative systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and use of emails.
