SEND Administrator (part-time, 30h per week) job summary
As SEND Administrator at Bradford Academy, you will play a key role in supporting the effective operation of the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department. Working closely with the Senior SENDCO and wider SEND team, you will provide high-quality administrative support that helps ensure students receive the provision, interventions and specialist support they need to succeed.
This role is contracted at 30 hours per week and offers flexibility to support work-life balance. The hours can be worked across four days per week, or alternatively across five shorter working days, depending on the successful candidate's preference and the needs of the academy.
This is a varied and fast-paced role involving the management of student records, SEND documentation, annual review processes, meeting coordination, communication with parents, external agencies and professionals, and maintaining accurate data across a range of systems. You will be responsible for tracking important statutory deadlines, organising EHCP review processes, preparing documentation and evidence, taking meeting notes, and ensuring records are maintained in line with GDPR requirements.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. They will be confident communicating with a range of stakeholders and committed to delivering a professional and welcoming service. Previous administrative experience is essential, while experience within a school or SEND environment would be advantageous.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the educational experience of young people by supporting an inclusive provision that enables every student to reach their full potential. Working within a caring and ambitious academy community, you will contribute to ensuring that SEND processes are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with statutory requirements.
