SEND Administrator job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly improving special school, which joined Unity Schools Partnership multi-academy trust in June 2019.
This role is based within the Administrative team working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team, class teachers and the NHS therapy teams to ensure that pupils EHCP’s PEP’s and other Local Authority paperwork to co-ordinate and attend multi-agency team meetings and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date and correctly distributed. This role is suited to a highly skilled administrator with high levels of literacy, grammar and fast, accurate typing skills and computer literacy. Must be able to self-manage and be highly organised.
The Bridge Special School is a popular school educating children and young people between the ages of 3 - 16 who have a wide range of communication, physical, and profound and multiple learning difficulties. Many of the pupils are on the Autistic Spectrum. The school serves a catchment area that covers Ipswich and surrounding areas of Suffolk. The whole school is based on one campus with the newest part of the building having opened in September 2020.
The school is part of a collaborative, forward thinking Academy Trust of 30 schools. Unity Schools Partnership will be creating a network of special schools working together as we have recently been approved to open new special schools in Bury St. Edmunds and Romford, as well as already having special schools in Ipswich and Haverhill.
