SEND Administrator job summary

Are you a highly organised and proactive administrator with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and communication skills can make a real difference?

  We are seeking a dedicated SEND Administrator to join our team at a pivotal time in our school’s improvement journey and we are committed to transforming our SEND provision—and you will play a key role in that mission.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and manage all administrative processes related to EHCPs and Annual Reviews.

  • Maintain accurate SEND records and provision maps.

  • Liaise with parents, carers, external agencies, and local authorities.

  • Support the SENDCo in monitoring and reviewing SEND provision.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and internal quality standards.

  • Be a key point of contact for SEND-related queries and communications.

  What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in administration, ideally within an educational or SEND setting.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • A calm, professional manner and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor).

  • A commitment to improving outcomes for students with additional needs.
