SEND Class Teacher job summary

Hall Green Infant School is looking for a SEND class teacher who will bring enthusiasm, innovation and forward thinking to further enhance the excellent work that is already taking place within the school.

Our SEND provision is in place to support children with high and complex needs and we have a skilled team of TA's who work with the children. The successful candidate will be well supported and encouraged by the senior leadership team. Visits are encouraged to be able to fully appreciate the environment and ethos of the school..

The successful candidate will:

  • be an exemplary teacher, sharing excellence and expertise in the development of all staff
  • have experience in teaching pupils with a high level of special educational needs.
  • have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • be committed to working with parents, governors and the local community
  • show a commitment to contributing to the wider life of the school
  • have experience of working within Early Years or KS1.
