SEND Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary
SEND Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) required.
A permanent term-time only position to start in September. Additional inset days by arrangement.
37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 8.15am – 4.15pm with a half hour lunch break (unpaid)

We are opening a new unit in September 2025. This unit will take 12 children (2 classes of 6) who all have EHCPs with Communication and Interaction as their primary need. This means they will have a diagnosis of autism or be on the pathway for a diagnosis.

You will be positive and consistent in your approach, build excellent relationships with pupils and be willing to adapt your practise according to need.
The post is suitable for experienced Teaching Assistants. SEND experience essential.
