SEND HUB Teacher job summary

As a SEND HUB teacher you will help maintain the ethos of the school by driving our organisational culture and drive. You will be responsible for teaching SEND students at KS3 and KS4 (11-16yrs old) a variety of subjects

About You

The successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • teach a KS2 primary curriculum
  • have experience of teaching students with SEND
  • demonstrate a commitment to personalised learning
  • demonstrate and promote high expectations of our Hub cohort
  • have excellent organisational skills
  • have a proven ability in relationship building (of both students, parents and other professionals)
  • liaise closely with the SENDCo Team
  • liaise closely with visiting professionals

Candidates will also have qualified teacher status or degree and relevant experience, successful completion of ECT induction year qualifications and will have the motivation to work with children and young people, have the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
