We are looking for a SEND Learning Assistant who will work with one of our wonderful children in Key Stage One who has learning needs as well as offer support to groups and the class teacher as and when necessary.
We are looking for a SEND Assistant who:
Is a strong team player and enjoys working with others
Is flexible and adaptable and ready for no two days being the same
Is caring and patient with a good sense of humour
Has some understanding of the autistic spectrum and/or related learning needs
Can use their initiative and is solution focused
Has high expectations and a belief that all children can succeed
Can communicate effectively with children and colleagues
Is keen to learn and develop in their role

Ash Hill Primary School is in the Micklefield area of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The youngest children at our school are 2 years old (Nursery class), and the oldest are eleven (Year 6). There are approximately 230 children at Ash Hill altogether. Ash Hill is a happy school, and everyone works together to ensure that the children are safe and well looked after, and that they all receive an education which enables them to meet their full potential.
