SEND Learning Support Assistant job summary
Childwall Sports & Science Academy, is seeking a caring, committed and enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team.
This rewarding role involves supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including pupils with Autism/ASC, helping them to access learning, achieve their EHCP outcomes and thrive both academically and personally. You will work closely with teachers and the SEND team, delivering interventions, promoting positive behaviour and supporting students on a one-to-one, small-group and classroom basis.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting students with SEND, particularly Autism/ASC.
- Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Is committed to inclusion and helping every student achieve their potential.
- Can work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.
