What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for colleagues who:-
- enjoy working with children
- have experience of working with children with special educational needs
- are committed to raising standards
- have excellent communications skills
- hold GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
- have a minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant field
- are flexible, enthusiastic and motivated
- Want to champion children to succeed
- Wants to learn and develop

Further details about the role
Successful candidates will be required to:
- work in collaboration with class teachers
- work under the direction of the Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion
- contribute to records kept on pupil progress
- discuss how the children cope with their work with the SEND team managers, Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion and class teachers
- cater for the personal needs of children with SEND

This post will require an enhanced DBS check, however, disclosure of convictions, either by the applicant or as a result of the DBS check, will not necessarily exclude an individual from employment. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. We work within all relevant legislation, recommendations and guidance and carry out a number of checks before, during and following the interview stage. This will include carrying out an online search and references will be taken up prior to interview.
