What skills and experience we're looking for
We welcome applications from excellent practitioners who have:
An NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
Excellent classroom practice and are able to lead a room and adapt provision to meet need.
Experience and expertise in supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, including strategies for self-regulation and resilience.
Experience of working within trauma-informed and relational approaches to behaviour support.
Experience of implementing de-escalation strategies to support pupils experiencing distress.
Experience in delivering bespoke, nurturing curricula for pupils who may be working below age-related expectation and require personalised learning pathways.
The ability to support and develop communication-friendly and emotionally supportive environments.
Understand the factors influencing attendance and engagement for vulnerable pupils.
The ability to adapt provision for pupils with SEND and EAL, ensuring inclusive and high-quality learning experiences.
The ability to share learning with others, helping colleagues to develop their skills and understanding
