SEND Support Teaching Assistant x 2 Roles job summary

Manor Farm Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our committed team to support children with additional needs. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development, helping every child to reach their full potential.


Key responsibilities:

  • Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
  • Promoting independence, confidence, and resilience in pupils
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Assisting with classroom organisation and administrative tasks
  • Supporting an an individual pupil where need arises.


We are looking for someone who:

  • experience working with children with additional needs
  • Has a genuine passion for working with children
  • Is patient, caring, and committed to inclusion
  • Has good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Works well as part of a team and shows initiative
