SEND Teacher job summary
As a SEND Teacher you will take a creative approach to teaching small groups of students according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximised student achievement and ability to develop.
This is great opportunity for an established secondary or primary teacher looking to develop and achieve their SENCo qualification which will be fully funded and supported.
The successful candidate must be familiar and happy to adopt a therapeutic approach to teaching and working with SEND/SEMH/Autistic students. Educated to degree level and with QTS, you will be calm, engaging, resilient and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping students reach their potential.
Barnwell School is a Hertfordshire STEPs trained school, we are also a trauma informed school and use nurture principles to develop positive relationships with our students.
