SEND Teacher - Rise@GHC job summary
We would like to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and committed individual to the temporary post of SEND teacher, ideally to teach Science. This Fixed Term Contract is to cover maternity leave and is to start from the Summer Term for a year or until the substantive post holder returns.
Rise@GHC is a specialist resource provision for learners with Autistic Spectrum Conditions and other related special educational needs. The centre is part of Garth Hill College but operates in dedicated buildings within a twelve-minute walk and three-minute drive from the main Garth Hill site. We are looking for a talented educator with a big heart who shares our commitment to excellence and achieving the very best for all our pupils.
We are looking for someone who has the desire and ability to:
Teach science ideally
Help our pupils to progress well, achieve and enjoy their learning
Work in partnership with others including parents/carers and multi-agency teams
Create innovative curriculum and teaching plans
Deliver challenging and exciting learning
Contribute positively to the work of the team and the development of Rise@GHC
