Rosebrook Primary School, part of Ad Astra Academy Trust, plays an integral role in the local community, where working in partnership with our families is key to our success. We are an Enhanced Mainstream School (EMS) for pupils with communication and interaction needs and we pride ourselves on our inclusive approach.
We are seeking to appoint a passionate, highly-skilled teacher with experience in the field of communication and interaction (particularly autism), to join our dedicated, caring team, who can build on our ethos which is caring and supportive whilst maintaining high expectations of children’s work and behaviour. The successful candidate will work within our designated hub, teaching pupils from across the primary age range with SEND, and for this a SEN Allowance 1 will be payable.
Applications are welcomed from candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills and experience they will bring to the post and how they will meet the requirements of the Person Specification.
The successful candidate will:
- Have substantial experience of working directly with children with special educational needs;
- Have knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and its implications for children with complex learning difficulties
- Join a school with a highly supportive, warm, friendly and respectful ethos, and the drive and ambition to ensure that all members of staff achieve their full potential
- Have the privilege of engaging with hard-working, highly motivated children
