About the Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored learning experiences that meet the unique needs of each pupil.
You will:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons with clear progression for individuals, including those on personalised curriculums.
Support and guide staff in developing and implementing bespoke learning pathways.
Promote active learning, creativity, and pupil engagement through varied and stimulating teaching methods.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
Effectively manage classroom behaviours and address the social and emotional needs of pupils.
Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive environment where every learner feels valued.
Use effective questioning, clear presentation, and a variety of resources to inspire curiosity and participation.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to ensure that all provisions effectively meet pupils’ EHCP outcomes and individual needs.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children with SEND in either mainstream or specialist settings.
Is an adaptable, reflective, and committed professional with a positive, solutions-focused mindset.
Can demonstrate a clear understanding of inclusive education and personalised learning approaches.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Is committed to improving outcomes for all learners and believes every child can succeed.
