You will need to:

  • Demonstrate and deliver excellent teaching
  • Have high expectations of every child enabling them to make exceptional progress
  • Have excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Inspire, challenge, support and empower others in the delivery of SEND provision for all children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Have good interpersonal skills, establishing excellent working relationships with all staff, external professionals, governors, pupils and parents
  • Ensure the best possible outcomes for SEND pupils and their families by influencing best practice across the school
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development in the field of SEND.
