SEND Teaching Assistant

37.5 hours per week (8:00 to 4pm), 5 days per week, working 39 weeks per year Grade B

(FTE £24,790)

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, and dedicated team. The role will involve personal and medical care.

The ideal candidate will;

Have experience of working with children with additional physical and communication needs.

Have an inclusive ethos with high expectations and aspirations for the pupils they work with.

Demonstrate a calm and relaxed manner.

Be able to communicate effectively with other professionals and parents.

Work collaboratively with others to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children in their care.

Be flexible, reliable and reflective.

Show good organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative.

Be consistent in expectations of behaviours and learning.

Be caring, patient, but above all, fun!
