Temporary and permanent positions available

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join Hampton Lakes Primary School as SEND Teaching Assistants (Level 2). Both temporary and permanent positions are available.

The children at Hampton Lakes are happy, resilient learners, and we are proud to support a wide range of needs, including Autism, Down’s Syndrome, ADHD, and Dyslexia. Many of our pupils are developing their communication skills and require support through the delivery of Speech and Language programmes. We aim for all children to reach their full potential and recognise the vital role Teaching Assistants play in supporting this success.

The SEND Teaching Assistant (Level 2) role involves supporting learning opportunities for all pupils. As part of this role, you will also be required to carry out 30 minutes of Midday Supervision each day, which is a great opportunity to build positive relationships with all children.

The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of the Every Child Matters framework and a passion for helping children achieve their full potential. Applicants should have some experience working with children and feel comfortable in a school environment, demonstrating the ability to respond sensitively and appropriately to a range of situations.

We are looking for individuals who are confident working with young children, and experience or passion for working in a primary setting would be advantageous. Candidates should be able to engage effectively with pupils and promote positive behaviour.

If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to develop professionally, we can offer a fulfilling and rewarding role at Hampton Lakes Primary School.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, term time only.
