SEND Teaching Assistant job summary
Manor Park is a vibrant and friendly primary school in Knutsford committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, excellent communication skills, and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in shaping the education of our students, fostering their development, and creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for learning. This is a part- time role, 32.5 hours per week, term time only. Please refer to the attached recruitment pack for more details.
Key Responsibilities:
1. With support of class teacher, plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons to stimulate the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children.
2. Create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes exploration and creativity.
3. Foster a sense of community and collaboration among students, parents, and fellow staff members.
4. Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
5. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
6. Professional development is a priority at Manor Park and the successful candidate will be fully supported by an in-school mentor and access to the CPD programme.
