33.75 hours per week

Monday - Friday, 8.15am - 3.30pm with a half hour lunch break (unpaid)

About us

Overstone Combined School is a primary school in the heart of the village of Wing. Our friendly school serves offers a broad, balanced and evolving curriculum. We have a hardworking and dedicated team of staff, fantastic children and supportive governing body.

We have close links with neighbouring schools and we actively encourage shared good practice, with an emphasis on high-quality continuing professional development. We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational person to join our warm and welcoming team.

We are opening a new unit in the Autumn Term 2025. This unit will take 12 children (2 classes of 6) who all have EHCPs with Communication and Interaction as their primary need. This means they will have a diagnosis of autism or be on the pathway for a diagnosis.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our existing team to demonstrate a positive impact on outcomes for children. You will be working within a warm, vibrant and caring school at the heart of its community.

About you

You will be positive and consistent in your approach, build excellent relationships with pupils and be willing to adapt your practise according to need.

The post is suitable for experienced Teaching Assistants, SEND experience desirable.
