SEND Teaching Assistant

Hours: 28 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Basis: Part Time, Fixed Term for a year until 31st August 2025

Grade/Salary: Band 3, SCP 6-9. £25,183 - £26,409 (FTE)

Actual salary: £16,437.01 - £17,237.23 (Pro Rata)

You will be responsible for:

• Working with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
• Promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
• Giving support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
