Job title: SEN teaching assistant (TA)

Salary: NJC 3-4 £12.85 P/H (FTE £24,796 - £25,185) Pro Rata

Hours: 32.5 hours per week - 8:30am to 3:30pm (30 minutes lunch)

Contract type: Fixed-term (1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027)

Reporting to: Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Senco

Main purpose

The SEN teaching assistant (TA) will:

Provide learning and care support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)

Work with the teacher to plan and deliver activities

Support pupils with routines, transitions and behaviour management

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
