The Governors are looking for an inspirational and creative Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding Catholic primary school at St. Mary’s Horsforth Catholic Voluntary Academy. We are looking for someone who is a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individual, to take on the role of Teaching Assistant and has high expectations in terms of children’s achievement and behaviour, to support children with SEND.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is warm, friendly, and empathetic
  • Has excellent English, maths and communication skills
  • Understands how individual children learn to ensure rapid progress
  • Is committed to high standards of attainment and behaviour
  • Works effectively as part of a skilled team including outside agencies
  • Is a practising Catholic or supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
