Now, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced teacher to take on a leadership role in our brand-new SEND Unit, designed to support children with additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive setting.
A Unique Leadership Role
This is an exciting chance for an ambitious teacher to shape and develop a brand-new SEND Unit attached to our thriving mainstream primary school. As the main classroom teacher, you will:
Lead and help develop the SEND Unit, with the opportunity to design and implement a curriculum tailored to the needs of our pupils.
Work alongside our experienced and highly successful Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure our SEND provision is outstanding.
Have the chance to innovate and introduce new teaching strategies, including outdoor learning and sensory-based approaches.
Collaborate closely with parents, specialists, and external agencies to create a holistic and nurturing learning environment. This role comes with a TLR 2.1, recognising the additional leadership responsibility of helping to shape a specialist provision from the ground up.
