JOB TITLE: SENDAT REVIEW OFFICER  

SALARY RANGE: SCALE POINT 16 - 20

CONTRACT: PERMANENT  (However flexible working requests may be considered; please indicate flexible working hours and if there is a preferred geographic area to work on your application).

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS:  Bases for this work are likely to be 2/3 of the following:

Main bases for working will be:

- Sunrise Academy, Carlton Colville

- Priory School, Bury St Edmunds

- Stone Lodge Academy, Ipswich

- Mulberry Cognition and Learning Unit, Mendlesham and Stowupland

- Peile Cognition and Learning Unit, Ipswich


The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Academies Trust (SENDAT) is a Multi-Academy Trust whose provisions support a range of needs including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health and Behavioural (SEMH) needs.    Our core aim is to provide for the continuum of special needs across the Eastern region.     

All SENDAT schools and alternate provisions have Trauma Informed practices embedded across the curriculum and SENDAT staff colleagues are given training and support to develop and use these skills in their day-to-day working. 

All new appointments are subject to a 26-week probationary period, as set out in the SENDAT Probationary Procedure.
