We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo) to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs, ensuring they receive the support and opportunities they deserve.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Advise and support teachers and staff in meeting the diverse needs of all pupils.

Develop, implement, and review SEND policies and practices across the school.

Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support.
-
Monitor and track the progress of SEND pupils, preparing reports for leadership and governing bodies.

Ensure statutory requirements for SEND provision are met.
Person Specification:
-
Qualified teacher status (QTS) with recent teaching experience.
-
SENCo qualification (or willingness to work towards it) is essential.

Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and frameworks, including the Code of Practice.

Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
