This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, popular school and to develop your skills with a talented staff team. We are a two-site school, in the first instance this role will be based at our Derwent site.

We are a large school with over five hundred and sixty main school pupils in addition to those attending our Early Years provision which brings our total number to nearly seven hundred. We have one hundred and thirty staff across both sites.

We are looking for a qualified SENDCO to take responsibility for inclusion at our Derwent Road site. Ideally you will have experience in the role. You will work in partnership with our (0.5) SENDCo at our Kestrel Way site to develop shared processes while adapting practice to support the needs of individual pupils at Derwent Road. You will have a 0.5 teaching commitment in either Early Years, KS1 or KS2 where you will share the class with an experienced colleague.

We are developing our SEND support and are seeking a forward thinking team player who has a passion for developing the potential of all children and can inspire colleagues.
