SENDCo job summary

We are looking to appoint an experience and influential SENDCo to join our team at Engage Academy. Engage Academy is based in Batley and is part of Ethos Academy Trust. Engage Academy is a well-established pupil referral unit, specialising in supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils with a wide range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the school's SEND strategy and providing specialist support to colleagues. You will be working with children, their families and colleagues to ensure that pupils with special educational needs can access education and achieve their full potential.

The role is temporary to cover maternity leave and you will be required to work 2 days per week.
