Hours: Full-time hours at 37 hours per week, and 40 weeks per year. ( Term Time at 38 weeks, plus INSET days and additional one week)

Keyham Lodge School are looking for a caring, experienced and enthusiastic SENDCo Administrative Assistant.
To join our team and be a proactive integrated member of the SENDCo Team.
Key Responsibilities:
To work as a member of the SENCo Team and provide appropriate support primarily in relation to the SENCo duties.
As part of your role you will carry out administration related roles linked to Annual Reviews, EHCPs, meetings, LAC, and PEPs to complete the statutory returns and processes, by supporting pupils and families and liaising and working closely with other agencies.
In addition and where necessary support Local authority in the statutory duty.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Equivalent to NVQ 3 level qualification plus relevant experience or can demonstrable experience identified within the Job Description.
Experience:
- Experience of working in a school office and understanding of SEND processes and statutory requirements
Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of child protection and health and safety procedures.
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and an appreciation of the implications of the Data Protection Act.
- Ability and willingness to undertake professional development.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Empathy with children and young people.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
