SENDCo Full time Permanent job summary
Our community is looking for a dedicated, motivational and qualified SENDCo to transform the lives of local children with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate will need to start their role in September 2024.
At Brixington Primary Academy, we are excited to be adding to Devon’s capacity in meeting the needs of children with SEND by developing a brand new Resource Base. This base will be for ten children with social, emotional and mental health needs who are presenting challenging behaviours. The SENDCo role will be pivotal in leading this new area of the school as well as improving outcomes for SEND learners across the whole school.
This is an opportunity to join a school and a trust who are passionate about inclusion and committed to providing a positive, joyful and safe experience for all learners. The successful candidate will lead SEND provision and practice, supported by the school and trust leadership team and will be a member of the senior leadership team.
