What skills and experience we're looking for
We seek an inspirational SENDCO, to start as early as is possible to lead the department forward in our supportive school. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a committed department and to have the ability to innovate and ensure that the support and progress of SEND students is a real strength in our comprehensive school.
Candidates must have the aptitude to be an inspirational leader with a passion to ensure that SEND students maximise their potential. The successful candidate should exude a positive approach to the removal of barriers to learning for SEND students and be driven to ensure that teaching provides appropriate provision for all. Your ability to be an exceptional and dynamic classroom practitioner who sets high expectations for all stakeholders is central to the role. Candidates must have, or be working towards or show a willingness to embark on a nationally recognised qualification for SEND, but an initial in-depth knowledge of SEND and strategies to support students is essential.
Candidates should have a secure understanding of the Code of Practice and knowledge of the working practice of Lincolnshire’s local offer would be advantageous.

All posts will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, medical and reference checks. All Pre-employment checks are in line with "Keeping Children Safe in Education".
