The Governors wish to appoint a qualified teacher who is an excellent SENDCo and will also have Looked After Teacher and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead responsibilities too. This role is two and a half days a week and is to start in September 2021.
We are looking for an enthusiastic SENDCo who will make a positive contribution and difference in offering our children the best of opportunities to learn and to succeed. This role is not class based and you will be working closely with the Headteacher; if required to, you will cover classes. We are seeking a committed team player with excellent organisational skills, who leads by example in their standards of hard work and enthusiasm to offer a high level of support to our children. Developing relationships across the school and working closely with colleagues, our families, with outside agencies and the wider school community is integral to the role.
Our children, their learning and their well-being are at the heart of Eureka Primary School and safeguarding is a golden thread through everything we do. We are an inclusive, caring and supportive school and we work hard as a team to achieve the best for our children.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
