What skills and experience we're looking for
The Role
The successful applicant will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with, and reporting to the Head Teacher to strategically ensure excellence for our SEND pupils.
We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in supporting SEND children and their families
- Has a commitment to an inclusive education for all children
- A sound knowledge of the SEN code of practice with experience of the EHCP process and Early Help services
- Possesses the ability to positively lead others
- Experience in supporting SEND children and their families
- Can inspire and motivate all children and enable them to be the best that they can be
- Will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team
- Will work in partnership with the Head Teacher, local Committee and the wider community to ensure that our mission and ethos is translated into action.
- Holds the National SENDCo Qualification or has a willingness to work towards the qualification.
