What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a person who will share the school’s vision, values and journey for sustained improvement.We are also looking for someone who is passionate about Inclusion and meeting the needs of all children and is able to:
  • Have overall leadership of SEND within the academy
  • Work as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, with the Head Teacher and the governing body, in determining the strategic development of SEN policy and provision in the school
  • Take day-to-day responsibility for the operation of SEN policy and co-ordination of specific provision made to support individual pupils with SEN, including those who have EHC plans
  • Provide professional guidance to colleagues and work closely with staff, parents and other agencies
  • Be an excellent teacher with a thorough understanding of adaptive provision.
