What skills and experience we're looking for
- Have overall leadership of SEND within the academy
- Work as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, with the Head Teacher and the governing body, in determining the strategic development of SEN policy and provision in the school
- Take day-to-day responsibility for the operation of SEN policy and co-ordination of specific provision made to support individual pupils with SEN, including those who have EHC plans
- Provide professional guidance to colleagues and work closely with staff, parents and other agencies
- Be an excellent teacher with a thorough understanding of adaptive provision.
