What skills and experience we're looking for
A proven record of successful teaching
Proven success in improving student outcomes
Leading a whole school initiative
Ability to form good working relationships with all stakeholders
Ability to create a stimulating and safe learning environment
Ability to lead a team of staff to ensure the right outcomes for students are achieved
Ability to successfully deploy resources
Ability to communicate to a range of audiences using a variety of techniques
Ability toefficiently and effectively manage workloads
Ability to work under pressure to challenging deadlines
Good record-keeping skills
Sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
Effective intervention strategies
Ability to plan and evaluate interventions
Data analysis skills, and the ability to use data to inform provision planning
Recent developments in teaching and learning
Current education legislation, Ofsted framework, best practice, nationaltrendsand innovation
Demonstrates an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
Demonstrates an awareness, understanding and commitment to equal opportunities
