On behalf of the Trust, local committee and staff team, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to The Holme Church of England Primary School.

As you read through our website I hope that you will see that we are a school with a difference!

At the heart of everything that we do are the children. The seven years that they spend with us, are an extremely precious time of enormous growth and change. We seek to make every opportunity a learning experience and harness the value out of every moment, of every day. You will see from much of the content of this website, how central the children are and what fantastic ambassadors they are for the younger generation. As a school community, we are proud to provide a happy, positive environment where the children have the aspiration and self-belief to achieve their goals, whatever they may be.

As a Church of England school, The Holme has very clear Christian values and a strong ethos which permeates every aspect of our school and is built around enjoyment in learning. We value the support and commitment which parents offer, both to the school as a whole and to their own child’s education. We believe that working together enables our children to achieve their full potential through high quality teaching and an exciting, values-based curriculum, holding our children at the heart of everything we do.

Choosing a school is an important decision, so please come and visit us to see for yourself what makes The Holme so unique. To get more of a flavour of what goes on at The Holme, please explore our website or visit our virtual tour.

If you would like a copy of any of the information on our website, please contact the school office and we will happily provide it to you, free of charge.

We look forward to working with you to ensure your child’s years at The Holme are happy and enriching.
