The successful candidate:
- Will be a strong advocate for students with additional needs
- Will have proven leadership skills in school improvement and curriculum innovation in relation to SEND practice
- Can model, coach and support colleagues to ensure that high aspirations, unconditional positive regard and exceptional relational approaches are always promoted.
- Have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support colleagues.
- Be committed to working in partnership with our parents, external agencies and our local mainstream schools.

Voyage Learning Campus is seeking to appoint an inspiring and highly motivated SENDCo. The successful candidate will work closely in partnership alongside the Principal, leadership team and staff in leading the strategic direction and development of our increasing SEND need in school. The successful candidate will work with colleagues across North Somerset and beyond to ensure that students with additional needs are supported fully and will support colleagues to develop their understanding of SEND in the classroom.
Voyage Learning Campus is based in Weston-super-Mare. We are the Primary and Secondary Pupil Referral Unit and Medical Provision for young people in North Somerset. We are passionate champions of vulnerable young people in North Somerset who need additional support to help them transition to the next phase of their learning.
