Grade 6 - Senior Specialist Teaching & Learning Support Assistant - Permanent

32.5 hours per week term time only + 5 training days (195 days)

Actual starting salary will be £21,721.80 - £23,575.71 ( £28,624 - £31,067 FTE)

Treetops at Bridgeview opened in September 2024. The primary needs of our pupils is speech, language & communication. The provision is expanding and we are seeking to recruit a Senior Specialist Teaching & Learning Support Assistant. You must be adaptable, flexible and resourceful. The role is classroom based, working in small classes to support social, emotional, communication & the developmental needs of our pupils and to maximise attainment and progress for all. You will also have to support the initimate care needs of the pupils.

You will be highly organised, with the ability to:

  • Be able to build strong relationships with children and adults
  • Motivate and develop the children in your care
  • Be passionate about seeing young people succeed
  • The ability to use relevant technology
  • Have level 2 English and Maths or above
  • Have Level 3 teaching assistant qualification or relevant experience
