At Witney Community Primary (WCP), our office is the steady heart of the school.

We are looking for a Senior Administration Officer who is naturally unflappable, highly organised, and enjoys being the first point of contact for our families and staff.
“What I value most here is the genuine team spirit. We support each other through the challenges, ensuring everyone feels safe and nurtured at work.”
Why this role matters
As our Senior Administration Officer, you provide the absolute foundations for our school's success. You will manage essential systems, from lead responsibility for nursery admissions and funding to acting as our Educational Visits Coordinator. Your ability to communicate clearly and remain approachable ensures that our administrative processes run as smoothly as our classrooms.
What you’ll bring
An Unflappable Presence: You remain efficient and calm, even when managing a busy reception or complex queries.
Strong Communication: You are a natural people person; who provides a warm, professional welcome to everyone in our community.
Attention to Detail: You are methodical with data and finances, ensuring Nursery funding and school trip bookings are accurate and timely.
Organisational Flair: You can balance long-term tasks (like the pupil census) with the immediate needs of a primary school day.
Resilience: You bring a proactive, can-do attitude and a commitment to seeing tasks through to the highest standard.
The 'Why Us' difference
At WCP, we treat our staff with the same care and respect as our pupils.
Genuine Support: We don't just talk about resilience; we practice it. Our staff have a proven track record of supporting one another through personal and health challenges, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere for all.
Professional Agency: You are the expert in your domain. We trust you to lead on your responsibilities and provide the support you need to succeed.
RLT Benefits: As part of the River Learning Trust, you’ll join a network of schools committed to staff wellbeing, offering a generous pension scheme and high-quality professional development.
