Senior Administrator - Based at Keighley site job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administrator at Oastlers School, based within our Keighley site.
The successful candidate will occupy a key role within the school, providing a high level of administrative support to staff, learners and parents to help us in our aim of delivering outstanding school support services.
The role will involve working closely with colleagues, including the SENDCo, to see tasks through to completion and taking responsibility and the use of initiative in key areas. The role will also involve direct line management responsibility.

The successful candidate will;
- Be confident in solving complex problems and working with colleagues from across a range of roles
- Be familiar with the EHCP process and understand the needs of learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties
- Provide a high-level administrative service, including undertaking preparation of reports, correspondence and other documentation relation to SEND learners, under the direction of the SENDCo within the EHCP process
- Have effective line management skills and experience
- Engage in continuing professional development and training
- Manage complex data and information while ensuring that school systems are kept up to date
- Ensure that policies and procedures are followed
- Plan, review and organise resources and the allocation of tasks to ensure the smooth running of administrative services
- Maintain critical school records and databases, ensuring confidentiality is maintained where necessary, but meeting the school’s statutory responsibilities, including to external organisations such as the DfE
- Assist in managing HR and recruitment processes, including recruitment of temporary and supply members of staff, and absence management procedures
- Assist the Head of Centre in leading other staff in the department to ensure that the administrative team deliver an outstanding service to staff, pupils and parents
