Senior Assistant Headteacher job summary

We are looking for a leader with significant experience and a deep understanding of the areas of inclusion and safeguarding in a primary or secondary school environment. You will be ambitious, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and ready to contribute to the school’s continuous improvement and ethos as part of the Senior Leadership Team, as well as developing as an exceptional senior leader.

King Ecgbert School is a large 11-18 secondary school of roughly 1450 students, including a sixth form of around 380 students. 

Our school is situated in Dore in the south-west of Sheffield, close to the Peak District. We serve a vibrant and diverse catchment, stretching from the very edge of the city to the very centre, following the Abbeydale corridor; we are a truly comprehensive school.
