About the Role
As Assistant Headteacher (Teaching & Learning), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience for our students and staff. Reporting directly to the Headteacher, you will:
- Deputise for the Headteacher and Deputy Headteachers when required.
- Be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to whole-school strategic development.
- Lead and oversee key areas, including (but not limited to):
- Teaching & learning strategy
- CPD programme and INSET days
- Staff appraisals and performance management
- Quality assurance
- Homework systems and ClassCharts
- Staff induction and tutoring programmes
- ECT/ITE programmes
