Senior Attendance Lead job summary
Senior Attendance Officer – Noel-Baker Academy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, proactive and resilient Senior Attendance Officer to join the team at Noel-Baker Academy.
This is a key role within the academy, leading attendance intervention and supporting pupils and families to overcome barriers to regular attendance. You will monitor and analyse attendance data, manage attendance cases and work closely with pupils, parents and carers, colleagues and external agencies to improve attendance and reduce persistent absence.
We are looking for an experienced attendance, pastoral or education professional with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be confident managing a varied workload, analysing attendance information and having supportive but challenging conversations with pupils and families where required.
As a senior member of the attendance team, you will work closely with senior leaders, pastoral and safeguarding colleagues and the wider academy community. The role will include overseeing attendance interventions, undertaking home visits, supporting attendance procedures and contributing to strategies that improve engagement and outcomes for pupils.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and values-driven academy where you can make a genuine difference to pupils, particularly those who are vulnerable or at risk of persistent absence. You will also benefit from the wider support and professional development opportunities available through L.E.A.D. Academy Trust.
