Senior Behaviour Support Mentor job summary

We are seeking a Senior Behaviour Support Mentor to join our committed and nurturing primary academy. This is a pivotal role where you will lead behaviour support strategies, model excellent practice, and help create a calm, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all pupils.

37 hours per week - Monday to Friday, term time only.

In this role, you'll

  • Deliver targeted interventions to support positive behaviour and learning outcomes
  • Work closely with teachers, SENDCO and pastoral teams to create a supportive environment
  • Plan enrichment activities and life skills sessions to prepare pupils for successful transitions
  • Monitor and improve behaviour strategies across the academy
  • Resolve difficulties causing concern as quickly as possible
