Senior Behaviour Support Mentor job summary
Longspee Primary is a specialist provision for young people KS1-2 with Autism and SEMH, with the majority of our current pupils having their main need in the area of Autism. We offer a rich and high-quality learning experience for our pupils, with a relentless and positive focus upon Happy, Safe, Progress. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Behaviour Support Mentor in a Specialist Provision, who is enthusiastic, skilled and experienced to support vulnerable learners.
In this role, you’ll:
- Deliver targeted interventions to support positive behaviour and learning outcomes.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCo and pastoral teams to create a supportive environment.
- Plan enrichment activities and life skills sessions to prepare pupils for successful transitions.
- Monitor and improve behaviour strategies across the academy.
- Resolve difficulties causing concerns as quickly as possible
