We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Senior Caretaker to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our learning environment is safe, secure, and maintained to the highest standards for pupils, staff, and visitors.
About the Role:
- Responsible for security, maintenance, and the day-to-day running of the school premises
- Key holder with responsibility for routine and non-routine opening and closing of the school
- Carry out repairs, maintenance, and health & safety checks across the site
- Support after-school activities, events, and lettings
- Lead on site safety, including fire and evacuation procedures
- Oversee contractors and support cleaning/catering contracts
- Provide advice and guidance on all premises-related matters

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a school environment
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, security, and health & safety
- Good organisational skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
